So many wonderful projects are coming to a head this week. We just wrapped up spring classes, summer registration is now open, Totally Red has hit the road and will be visiting schools, libraries, and community groups between now and June 17. On Thursday, the Quincy Junior High Drama Club will present their original play, Superheroes ‘R’ Us, which was devised and written by the students. My students are presenting awesome work!
Tomorrow, auditions will begin for our next student theatre show – The Halloween Trilogy. This show takes three classic horror stories – The Mark of the Beast, The Centerville Ghost, and The Cask of Amontillado – and presents them in the style of a 1940s radio show. The actors will play roles within all three stories and help supply the spooky sound effects! There are still audition appointments open for Tuesday. I can’t wait to start working on this unique and exciting production.
