What a wonderful weekend at QCT. The sold-out run of Shrek TYA left me smiling every minute. I am extremely proud of all the work the cast and crew brought to this story. This was a very special production that was hard to say goodbye to! Be sure to check out this blog post from ArtsQuincy that highlights some of our talented students. Thanks for the shout out, Lenny and the ArtsQuincy team!
I’ve uploaded some production photos onto my flickr page, and the delightful Chet Coonrod has a photo gallery available on his website. You can even see a teaser for the show on YouTube. With set/lighting by Paul Denckla and costumes by guest designer Kristen Ahern, there’s a lot to see!
We got an extra special treat this weekend, too: the City of Quincy helped us celebrate
“Shrek Saturday” by lighting the bridge in ogre green. What a cool way to honor our show…Freak Flags over the Mississippi River!
Here at QCT, I’m preparing for the next adventure. Our Spring Classes start on Monday and auditions for Totally Red are Tuesday! Never a dull moment here in Quincy.
