Yesterday was an exciting day here in Quincy; I had the opportunity to be a speaker at the first ever TEDx Quincy event! The theme of the conference was “Big Ideas for Little America”, and the speakers covered medicine, business, childcare, and a slew of inspirational ideas.
My presentation was called “Accessibility Through the Arts”. I am so grateful for the chance to speak at the event, but more so for the students and collaborators who gave me projects to discuss on this platform. Even though we have a lot of work to do, yesterday was a lovely reminder of all the good that is happening in this small town.
The official video will go up on the TEDx archive in a few weeks, and I’ll be sure to share it here when it does. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday’s event!
Kelsey, I’m proud to be with you in Destination Imagination. What a great effort…
