TEDx Quincy

C57AAEF7-426A-4205-987A-21C8851ED1FBYesterday was an exciting day here in Quincy; I had the opportunity to be a speaker at the first ever TEDx Quincy event!  The theme of the conference was “Big Ideas for Little America”, and the speakers covered medicine, business, childcare, and a slew of inspirational ideas.

My presentation was called “Accessibility Through the Arts”.  I am so grateful for the chance to speak at the event, but more so for the students and collaborators who gave me projects to discuss on this platform.  Even though we have a lot of work to do, yesterday was a lovely reminder of all the good that is happening in this small town.

The official video will go up on the TEDx archive in a few weeks, and I’ll be sure to share it here when it does.  In the meantime, thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday’s event!
