My play Reception has been selected for a staged reading in the New Voices Series, hosted by the Cincinnati Playwright’s Initiative.  Put  December 8th on your calendars, kids, ’cause it’s really happening.

Reception follow three friends whose lives become intertwined in the events before and after a wedding reception.  The twist: the first act moves backwards in time, and the second act moves forwards.  Crazy, right?  We did an initial reading in the Jubilee Directing Lab Theatre last fall.  There’s been some rewriting and reworking since then, so I’m very excited to see how everything works now.

More details to come.  The good folks at CPI just told me last night, and I’ve been on a major adrenaline kick ever since.
